| Obverse description | Laureate head of the emperor Titus facing right, rendered in the conventional provincial portrait style of the Flavian period. The effigy displays a wreath of laurel leaves encircling the head, with facial features characteristic of Titus's known portraiture. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within the coin's field, reading ΤΙΤΟΝ ΚΑΙϹΑΡΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΟΝ. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical wear consistent with a circulated provincial bronze issue. |
