Reverse description Tyche, the personification of Fortune, stands facing with head turned to the left, wearing a kalathos (cylindrical basket crown) upon her head. In her right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbolising guidance and fortune, while her left arm supports a cornucopia overflowing with abundance. A star appears in the field, either above or below the principal figure. The reverse legend in Greek identifies the issuing city of Ephesus.
