Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Balbinus facing right, portrayed in three-quarter view from the front, with the emperor's distinctive bearded physiognomy rendered in the provincial style. The paludamentum is visible at the left shoulder, and the cuirass pteryges are discernible at the lower bust. The encircling Greek legend runs along the beaded border of the flan.

Reverse description Asclepius, the god of medicine, stands facing left in the field, draped in a long himation that falls in carefully rendered folds about his body. He extends his right arm downward, grasping the serpent-entwined staff (kerykeion), the serpent coiling prominently around the lower portion of the rod. The figure is rendered in the typical provincial bronze style, with the encircling Greek civic legend distributed around the beaded border.
