Obverse description Confronted busts of Nero and Agrippina II: bare head of Nero facing right on the left, and draped bust of Agrippina II facing left on the right, both portrayed in profile facing one another. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΝΕΡ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΑΓΡΙΠ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΗ, identifying both imperial figures. The portrait style reflects the Julio-Claudian provincial die-cutting tradition, with naturalistic facial rendering characteristic of early Neronian coinage in Asia Minor.

Reverse description Standing cult statue of Athena Ilias facing left, wearing helmet and long chiton, holding a spear in the right hand and resting the left hand upon a shield set on the ground. The entire design is encircled by an olive wreath, a hallmark of civic pride referencing the sacred grove of Ilium. The abbreviated ethnic legend ΙΛΙ appears in the field, identifying the issuing city. The static, frontal rendering of the goddess reflects the archaic-style cult image venerated at the sanctuary of Athena in Ilium.
