| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Pamphylian civic coinage. The emperor's portrait displays the characteristic youthful features of Nero's mid-reign iconography, with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. The encircling Greek legend ΝΕΡΩΝ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ runs around the field. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with provincial hammered bronze coinage of the period. |
