Reverse description Tyche, the personification of Fortune and civic patroness, stands facing left in full figure. She holds a ship's rudder in her right hand, symbolising guidance and destiny, and a cornucopia in her left arm, emblematic of abundance and prosperity. The figure is rendered in the conventional Hellenistic-Roman provincial style, wearing a long chiton and polos headdress. The reverse field is framed by a dotted border, and the ethnic legend ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ is distributed around the figure, identifying the issuing city of Magnesia ad Maeandrum.
