Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Salonina (Cornelia Salonina Augusta), consort of Gallienus, facing right, wearing a diadem. The effigy is rendered in typical provincial style of the mid-third century AD. The circular Greek legend surrounding the bust reads ΚΟΡ ϹΑΛΩΝΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒ. The flan is irregular and the surfaces heavily corroded, consistent with a struck bronze provincial issue.
