| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian coinage. The imperial effigy displays a radiate laurel wreath crown with detailed leaf work visible despite heavy patination. The surrounding Greek legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait shows the youthful features characteristic of Elagabalus's early reign depictions. |
