Reverse description Hexastyle temple depicted in frontal elevation, showing six columns supporting a triangular pediment with a plain tympanum, set upon a stepped stylobate of two or three steps. The architectural rendering is characteristic of provincial civic coinage from Asia Minor, with the colonnade rendered in schematic but recognizable perspective. The encircling Greek legend names the city magistrate responsible for the issue and the civic ethnic of the Laodiceans. The legend is distributed around the periphery of the coin, with a portion appearing below the temple's base.
