Obverse description Draped bust of Crispina, Augusta and consort of Commodus, facing right, with elaborately coiffed hair arranged in waves and braids. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Troas, with visible drapery folds at the shoulder and chest. The encircling Greek legend reads ΚΡΙϹϹΠΙΝΑ ΑΥΓΟΥϹΤΑ, with the misspelling of the empress's name (ΚΡΙϹϹΠΙΝΑ for ΚΡΙϹΠΙΝΑ) noted as a local engraver's idiosyncrasy.
