Reverse description Nike, winged goddess of victory, advancing to the left, depicted in flowing robes with large spread wings visible behind her figure. She holds a victor's wreath extended in her right hand and a tall palm branch in her left. The Greek civic legend of Heraclea Pontica is distributed around the field, identifying the issuing city. The composition follows a standard provincial Nike type common to Bithynian civic bronze coinage of the Severan period.
