| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek tradition with modestly detailed hair and facial features. The portrait displays the characteristic mature physiognomy of Vespasian, with a sturdy neck and simplified drapery at the truncation. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The overall style is consistent with the civic bronze coinage of the Phrygian conventus under the Flavian dynasty. |
