Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Gallienus facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Troas mint. The emperor's effigy is depicted with a radiate-free laurel wreath crown, the neck and shoulder draped, conveying imperial authority. The surrounding Latin legend runs along the outer rim of the flan. The die work is characteristic of mid-third-century Roman provincial bronze coinage, showing moderate relief with some softness of detail.
