| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Herennius Etruscus as Caesar facing right, seen from the front, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The effigy displays the characteristic portraiture style of the Decian dynasty, with radiate-like hair treatment beneath the laurel wreath. The circumferential Greek legend surrounds the bust, partially worn but legible. |

| Obverse lettering | ΑΥ Κ ΕΤΡΟΥϹΚ ΔΕΚΙΟϹ ϹΕΒ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Etruscus Decius Augustus) |
| Reverse description | Zeus standing left in the field, his weight on his right leg, holding in his extended right hand an eagle with wings spread and in his left hand a long sceptre. The deity is rendered in the classical provincial style typical of Lydian civic coinage of the mid-third century. The encircling Greek legend proclaims the neocorate status of Philadelphia, distributed across the upper and lower fields around the central type. |
