| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip II facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the front, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is depicted in the provincial style characteristic of Asia Minor workshops of the mid-third century AD. The encircling Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially worn but legible. The coin exhibits a heavily patinated bronze surface with areas of earthen encrustation consistent with extended burial. |

| Reverse description | Tyche, the personification of civic fortune, stands facing left in full figure, wearing a turreted crown (kalathos) upon her head. In her extended right hand she holds a long rudder, symbolising guidance and destiny, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with fruits, emblematic of abundance and prosperity. The figure is rendered in the conventional Hellenistic manner standard to provincial bronze coinage of the Conventus of Miletus. The encircling Greek legend identifies the type as the Fortune of the Magnesians, and the coin's surface shows moderate wear with granular patina. |
