Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II as Caesar facing right, depicted from behind, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The Greek legend encircles the effigy in the field, identifying the prince by his full titulature. The die-cutting reflects the provincial workshop tradition of the Lydian conventus, with relatively high relief on the portrait.
