Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Otho facing right, with short curly hair and bare neck, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The effigy is boldly struck in high relief against a flat field, exhibiting the characteristic workmanship of the Alexandrian mint. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait, reading from the upper left and continuing around the periphery of the flan.
