Obverse description Laureate head of Nero facing right, rendered in profile with characteristic portraiture of the Neronian period. The emperor's hair is styled in the early Neronian fashion with layered locks over the brow. The Latin legend NERO CAESAR - AVG IMP encircles the bust within the coin's field. The flan is irregular and the strike slightly off-center, as typical of provincial bronze coinage of this period.
Obverse script Latin
Obverse lettering NERO CAESAR - AVG IMP
