Reverse description Veiled Tyche, turreted and draped, seated right upon an ornate throne, extending her right hand to hold ears of grain. Before her feet, a semi-recumbent river god is depicted in the lower field, personifying a local watercourse. The scene is a characteristic civic type associating the city's fortune and fertility with its riverine geography. The Greek legend ΑΥΓΟΥΣΤΑΝΩΝ ΕΤ ΗΜ is disposed around the field, recording the civic ethnic and the regnal year 48 of the local era, corresponding to 67–68 CE.
