Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Lucius Verus facing right, rendered in the Roman provincial style. The emperor's effigy displays a characteristic laurel wreath and visible drapery at the shoulder truncation. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the flan. The flan exhibits the irregular outline typical of provincial bronze coinage of this period. Surface shows heavy green patination consistent with long burial.

Reverse description Nude standing figure of Neptune (Poseidon), patron deity of Patras, depicted facing left with his right foot raised upon a rock. The god holds a dolphin in his outstretched right hand and a trident in his left. This reverse type alludes to Patras's maritime identity as a major Achaean port. The abbreviated colonial title appears in the field as the reverse legend. The composition is characteristic of the civic bronze coinage struck at Colonia Augusta Achaica Patrensis.
