Obverse description Draped bust of Kore Soteira facing right, her head adorned with a corn wreath and a necklace at the throat, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Mysian civic coinage. The legend ΚΟΡΗ ϹΩΤΕΙΡΑ encircles the effigy, identifying the deity as Kore the Saviour, a prominent tutelary goddess of Cyzicus. The flan is irregular and the surfaces exhibit heavy patination consistent with prolonged burial, though the portrait retains legible detail in the drapery folds about the shoulder.
