| Obverse description | Bare-headed, youthful draped bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in a slightly frontal three-quarter perspective characteristic of provincial Greek coinage. The hair is rendered in short, naturalistic curls across the forehead. A Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field, partially legible on the flan. The overall style is consistent with the civic bronze issues of Mytilene under the Conventus of Pergamum during the Hadrianic period. |
