Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Furia Tranquillina Augusta facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and bound with a diadem, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Conventus of Smyrna, with naturalistic facial features. The encircling Greek legend names the empress in her full titulature.

The goddess is rendered in the local provincial style, with drapery falling to her feet. The ethnic legend of the Cymaean civic mint encircles the type.
