Obverse description Laureate head of the emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic features of the Flavian dynasty, with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field, reading the imperial titulature. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production of the late first century AD.
