| Obverse description | Laureate head of the emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic features of the Flavian dynasty, with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field, reading the imperial titulature. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production of the late first century AD. |
