| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Corinthian mint. The emperor's effigy displays a radiate laurel wreath and military paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GER runs along the periphery of the flan, partially visible on this worn specimen. The portrait exhibits the broad facial features and strong jaw typical of Flavian-era provincial portraiture. |
