Obverse description Draped bust of Ajax, son of Teucer, facing right, wearing a pilos (conical cap) characteristic of the Teucrid dynastic iconography of Olba. A caduceus appears behind the bust, serving as a dynastic and priestly symbol. The Greek legend ΑΙΑΝΤΟΣ ΤΕΥΚΡΟΥ runs around the periphery of the field, identifying the depicted hero as Ajax of Teucer. The portrait is rendered in a Hellenistic provincial style consistent with late first-century BC to early first-century AD civic bronze coinage of Rough Cilicia.

Reverse description A large, prominently rendered thunderbolt (keraunos) depicted centrally in the field, shown with radiating lateral volutes and flame-like projections, a standard Jovian symbol widely employed on the civic bronzes of Olba in association with the priestly dynastic authority. The surrounding Greek legend, distributed in the field, records the titles of the issuing authority: high priest (archiereus), toparch, and lord of Kennata and Lalassis, with a date formula indicating regnal or era year 2 (ΕΤ Β). The style and execution are characteristic of the hammered provincial bronze coinage of Cilicia Trachea under Augustus.
