Reverse description Nike, the personification of Victory, depicted standing and facing left in flowing chiton, her right hand extending a wreath and her left hand holding a long palm-branch, a conventional attribute of victory in Hellenistic and Roman provincial iconography. The figure is rendered in relief against a plain field, with the civic ethnic legend disposed around the periphery. The overall composition is characteristic of Bithynian provincial bronze coinage of the Antonine period.
