Reverse description Tyche, the tutelary goddess of the city, depicted standing facing left in full figure, wearing a kalathos (mural crown-like basket) upon her head and draped in a long chiton and himation. She extends her right hand downward to hold a rudder, symbolising guidance and fortune, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with abundance. The encircling Greek civic legend names the issuing city in the peripheral field.
