Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, viewed from the rear, rendered in the provincial Roman style typical of mid-third-century Asia Minor coinage. The emperor's paludamentum and cuirass are visible at the truncation, with the laurel wreath clearly indicated atop the head. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show the characteristic patina of a well-circulated provincial bronze.
