Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view common to provincial coinage of this period. The imperial effigy is rendered with the paludamentum visible at the shoulder, conveying both military authority and divine status. The surrounding Greek legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. The coin surface shows an even green patina consistent with prolonged burial, with the bust in moderate relief typical of Ephesian civic bronzes of the joint reign.
