Syedra was a minor Cilician coastal city that struck bronze civic coinage under Roman imperial oversight, issuing in the names of emperors largely as a gesture of loyalty rather than economic necessity. The city's output under Trajan is sparsely documented, and III#2754 represents one of the less frequently encountered types from this mint.
