Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of the Conventus of Pergamum. The emperor's effigy displays a radiate laurel wreath crowning his head, with drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, invoking Trajan's full imperial titulature. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show the characteristic granular texture of a provincial bronze issue.
