Obverse description Bare or laureate head of Emperor Tiberius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Corinthian colonial coinage of the Julio-Claudian period. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the magistrate legend disposed around the periphery. The portrait displays a slightly idealised treatment typical of Roman provincial bronzes struck under the duoviri of Corinth.
Obverse script Latin
Obverse lettering A VATRONIO LABEONE IIVIR
