Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view. The radiate crown, military cuirass, and draped paludamentum are rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full imperial titulature.
