| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with youthful features. The portrait is set within a broad, slightly irregular flan typical of Lydian civic bronzes. The encircling Greek legend reads ΝΕΡΩΝ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ, distributed around the field. The workmanship reflects the competent but artistically free hand of a local provincial die-cutter. |
