Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coifed in the characteristic Antonine fashion with waved locks drawn back and gathered at the nape. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style, with the drapery of her garment visible at the truncation. The circular legend ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ (with Φ rendered in the distinctive dot-bar-dot form ·Ι·) runs around the periphery within a beaded border.
