| Obverse description | Draped bust of Lucilla facing right, her hair elaborately waved and coiled, rendered in the court style of the Antonine period. The effigy displays finely worked drapery at the shoulder. The circular Greek legend ΛοΥΚΙΛΛΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ surrounds the bust, identifying her as Augusta. The whole is enclosed within a beaded border. |
