| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Sabina facing right, her hair elaborately coiled and piled atop the head above a double stephane. The legend ϹΑΒΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ (Sabina Augusta) runs around the bust in Greek characters. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style typical of Ionian civic coinage of the Hadrianic period. |
