| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in medium relief with fine detail to the hair and paludamentum. The effigy displays the characteristic Hadrianic beard, a hallmark of his portraiture on provincial coinage. The Latin legend IMP CAES TRAI HADRIANVS AVG runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. The overall style is consistent with the local Phoenician mint tradition, combining Roman imperial iconography with provincial execution. Light green patina covers the surface, with areas of reddish-brown earthen deposits. |
