Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Sabina facing right, wearing a double stephane (diadem) in the elaborate court hairstyle characteristic of Hadrianic portraiture. The effigy is rendered in the Greek provincial style, with drapery folds visible over the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads ϹΑΒΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ, identifying the empress as Augusta.
