| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind in three-quarter rear view, a common convention in provincial bronze coinage of the period. The paludamentum is visible over the left shoulder, and the cuirass is rendered in low relief. The partial Latin legend IMP GALLI runs along the left field, the remainder being off-flan or weakly struck. The flan is irregularly shaped, typical of locally produced civic bronzes from the Troad region. |
