Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Domitian facing right, portrayed with characteristic short hair and strong facial features typical of Flavian imperial portraiture. The effigy is rendered in moderate relief consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the region. The Greek legend ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The coin exhibits the irregular flan and slightly off-center strike characteristic of hammered provincial issues from Caesarea Paneas.
