| Obverse description | Bare-necked, laureate head of Emperor Commodus facing right, with curled hair and short beard rendered in the provincial Greek style. The effigy is set within a dotted border, with the circumferential Greek legend occupying the field surrounding the portrait. The bust truncation is visible at the lower right, and the overall execution is characteristic of a Bithynian civic mint of the late 2nd century AD. |
