Obverse description Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear, presenting the characteristic three-quarter back view typical of provincial Severan coinage. The portrait conveys imperial authority through the combination of military cuirass and draped paludamentum over the shoulder. The Greek imperial titulature encircles the bust in the field. The flan shows the broad, irregular fabric characteristic of Mysian provincial mint production.
