Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Caracalla facing right, the portrait rendered in the provincial style typical of the Mysian mint of Parium. The emperor's effigy is encircled by a Latin legend running along the periphery of the flan. The flan shows characteristic irregular edges and a heavily worn, granular surface consistent with extended circulation.
