| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition characteristic of eastern provincial coinage. The effigy displays the distinctive features associated with Augustan portraiture, including a broad brow and classicising treatment of the hair beneath the laurel wreath. The surrounding field is heavily worn, with the Greek legend distributed around the periphery of the flan.
