| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The effigy displays the characteristic features of the emperor with a wreath of laurel leaves encircling the crown of the head. No legend is present on this denomination, consistent with the anonymous small bronze issues of the Alexandrian mint under Augustus. |
