| Obverse description | Jugate busts of Augustus, laureate, and Livia, draped, facing right, in close association as befits the imperial couple. The laureate head of Augustus is placed in front, with the draped bust of Livia immediately behind. The surrounding field carries the Greek civic legend of the Magnesians. The engraving reflects the provincial workshop style of western Anatolia under early imperial influence. |
