| Obverse description | Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the idealised Hellenistic portrait style typical of early Imperial provincial coinage. The effigy displays short, layered hair with characteristic comma-shaped locks over the forehead. A partial Greek legend runs along the left field, reading ΚΑΙΣΑΡ (Caesar), with the remainder of the titulature ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΥ ΥΙΟΣ (Son of the Augustus) completing the obverse inscription. |
