Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, depicted as Caesar during the reign of his father Vespasian. The portrait shows a youthful effigy with a laurel wreath, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian coinage. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border.

Reverse description Five upright corn-ears (grain stalks) bound together at their base, rising prominently from the field, symbolising the agricultural fertility and prosperity of the Bithynian province. The arrangement is compact and stylised, characteristic of provincial Roman-era bronzes. A Greek circular legend naming the proconsul Marcus Maecius Rufus surrounds the central device within a beaded border.
